- All baldy and Charolais-cross cattle were AI'ed to the Red Angus bull. Solid red and black cattle were AI'ed to either Red Angus or Hereford bull. Both proven calving ease bulls.
- The heifers are all sired by maternally selected AI sires, Kniebel Red Angus, Sandhill Hereford, Larson Angus, RS Angus or Fink Genetics bulls and built to thrive in minimal input environments.
